Lightweight 42″ Widescreen Cabin LCD introduced

ORLANDO, Florida - Flight Display Systems, a leader in retrofit in-flight entertainment equipment, officially introduced their largest liquid crystal display (LCD) at the 58th annual National Business Aviation Association Inc. (NBAA) Convention in Orlando, Florida. Weighing just 44.5 pounds and featuring three input sources and high-resolution WXGA output (1280×768 resolution), the 42″ widescreen cabin display (FD420CV) is featured at Flight Display Systems booth #3273. Similarly sized plasma displays weigh 70 pounds or more. In October, Flight Display Systems announced an order from a Texas completion center to install sixteen 42″ monitors in a fleet of MD-87s. The FD420CV is available today from DAC International for a suggested list price of $17,232.
