New DAPS321 Video Distribution Amplifier and Power Supply

Featuring Improved Video Quality and Additional Source Output Flight Display Systems, the leader in retrofit in-flight entertainment equipment, today announced an upgraded video distribution amplifier for corporate aircraft. The previous best-selling 2×6 Video Amplifier and Power Supply (DAPS320) will be replaced by the new 2×7 Video Amplifier and Power Supply (DAPS321). The new product offers passengers a significant increase in composite video signal quality as a result of improved shielding on the video circuit board. Also, the DAPS321 includes one additional output channel for both input sources. The DAPS321 is a small multi-function device that accepts input from two composite video sources for distribution to a maximum of seven video monitors in the aircraft cabin. Thirty-six watts of 12VDC power are available to drive other in-flight entertainment products, like Flight Display Systems’ aircraft DVD player (FD932DVD-4) or High-Resolution Glareshield Camera (FD600CAM-2).

The DAPS321 weighs just 1.7 pounds and is about the size of a paperback novel. List price is $938. It is available from DAC International, (512) 331-5323.
