World's Best-Selling DVD Player for General Aviation Adds Functions, Features
Flight Display Systems today announced an upgraded version of its popular DVD/CD/MP3 player (spec sheet - FD932DVD-4B). The company received FAA PMA approval for the equipment on January 5, 2007.
The FD932DVD-4B is available today for $905 with 28V and PMA
Flight Display Systems first released the FD932DVD-2 in 2004. The upgraded FD932DVD-4 was released in 2006. With over 1,000 units sold to date, the FD932DVD is the world's most popular DVD player for General Aviation use.
The new style FD932DVD-4B features easier aircraft installation, more audio/video outputs, and additional inputs for playing iPods and video games throughout the aircraft cabin. This is a direct replacement for the FD932DVD-4.
A new 28-volt DC power supply in the FD932DVD-4B replaces the previous 12-volt DC power supply. This allows for easier, standard aircraft installation. The FD932DVD-4B retains its small size and form factor to deliver a ruggedized player in a compact package. Upgraded firmware within the DVD player means more reliable disc playing. The FD932DVD-4B can play DVDs, CDs, and increasingly popular "burned" DVDs such as DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, and DVD+RW.
This product is in stock and available today. List price for the FD932DVD-4B is $905. Call 678-867-6717 for more information.
