AEA Technical Seminar for In-flight Entertainment

Flight Display Systems has been chosen to present a technical seminar at the 2007 Trade Show for Aircraft Electronics Association members. Our technical seminar for the installation of Cabin Entertainment Equipmentwill be held on Saturday, March 31st at 2:00pm. The room location is Crystal 5 in the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada USA.

Attendees will learn how to reduce signal noise from audio and video wiring in the aircraft. You will benefit from hands-on experience with sample wire harnesses, shielded cable, DVD players, and LCD monitors.Learn about best practices for Moving Map installations. New IFE Option for Agusta A109S Grand Helicopter

Northern Avionics installation bulletin package is now an Agusta factory option

Orlando, Florida - Heli-Expo Booth #906 - Cabin entertainment equipment from Flight Display Systems is now available as a factory option for new Agusta A109S Grand helicopters. Working in partnership with Northern Avionics of Milan, Italy, Flight Display Systems’s equipment has already been installed on multiple Agusta helicopters. There is presently a backlog of orders for this new Bulletin package.

This installation bulletin makes that program concrete and features the fine avionics work available from Northern Avionics.”
A standard entertainment system on an Agusta A109S Grand helicopter includes a 10.4-inch LCD monitor, a Helicopter Moving Map computer processing unit, and a DVD/CD/MP3 player. All of this equipment is manufactured by Flight Display Systems. Northern Avionics is a dealer of Flight Display Systems equipment and owns the Bulletin #315 Rev 0. The Northern Avionics installation facility is located at Linate Airport in Milan, Italy.
