Distribution Amp Introduced with Easy Switching

DAPS440-SW has Four Sources, Internal Memory, No Lead Time

The DAPS440-SW features four input sources and four cabin audio and video outputs. Download specification sheet. Installation facilities purchase this product to amplify the signal from a standard audio/video source, such as a DVD player. The DAPS440-SW is available today for $2,494.

The DAPS440-SW can remember and display four different a/v input sources.

“This is one more cabin innovation from our company,” said David Gray, President of Flight Display Systems. “For less than $500, a single switch on the DAPS440-SW will now do what four individual switches have done in the past.”

Flight Display Systems has received Parts Manufacturing Approval (PMA) from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for their 32- and 42-inch LCD monitors. “Receiving PMA approval from the FAA makes it easier for our dealers to install our equipment,” said David Gray, President of Flight Display Systems. “We keep an on-shelf inventory of 32- and 42-inch displays for customers that have quick turn opportunities. A large number of operators continue to replace their old plasma screens with our new LCDs.”

PMA approval was granted to Flight Display Systems from the original STC holder. Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) ST2760AT and FAA project number SA6953AT-T authorize installation of the FD320CV and FD420CV on a Boeing 727-200 aircraft. Full requirements for parts produced under a PMA are identified in FAR 45.15. Flight Display Systems now has PMA approval on LCD monitors of 7, 10.2, 15, 20, 32, and 42-inches in size. For more information, see our list of in-flight entertainment LCD monitors.
