Cirrus Aircraft with Flipper and Forward Vision EVS installed by One Sky Aviation
Finding panel room for data like Enhanced Vision Systems (EVS) is an ongoing issue for completion and refurbishment companies.
With the Flipper from Flight Display Systems, aircraft operators have an easy to install solution that does not require additional space or a rework of the entire instrument panel. The thin, small 5-inch LCD display flips into position when needed and can be viewed by both pilots.
The Flipper was originally introduced in October 2006. PMA approval was granted to Flight Display Systems from the original Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) holder, OneSky Aviation in Alaska. STC number ST2760AT includes a Forward Vision infrared camera for use with the high-resolution Flipper LCD from Flight Display Systems.

Flight Display Systems announced today that it will expand its warranty coverage.
All products now include a two year warranty. Long known for their quality and
reliability, the company is pleased to extend this offer to its valued customers.
The vast majority of Flight Display Systems customers have a great experience
with their equipment from day one," said Dave
Oblinger, General Manager of Flight Display Systems. "This expanded
warranty coverage will help assure our dealers of our commitment to quality
support."

Besides this new warranty coverage, Flight Display Systems leads the industry
in turn-around time. The company policy is a 24 hour turn time on all in-shop
repairs, far eclipsing competitor quotes of two to four weeks for simple repairs.
Another unique aspect of the company is the large in-stock inventory. Flight
Display Systems can ship next day to most of its customers, whereas many avionics
companies require an extensive lead time to deliver products. It is no wonder
that Flight Display Systems was selected as the #1
In-flight Entertainment company by readers of Aviation International News
in their 2008 Product Support survey.
