FAA PMA Awarded for Video Amplifier, Wireless Remote, and LCD Monitor

Flight Display Systems has been granted Parts Manufacturing Approval (PMA) from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for three popular cabin entertainment products.

New R&D Facility for Company Growth

Flight Display Systems, the leading manufacturer for retrofit aircraft cabin entertainment equipment, today announced the expansion of its headquarters campus in Alpharetta, Georgia USA with the purchase of a 12,000 square foot building. The company now owns three mixed-use buildings in Alpharetta, a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia. Combined, these facilities offer more than 30,000 square feet of usable space.

We are continuing to make investments towards the growth of this company," said David Gray, President of Flight Display Systems. "Our new R&D facility will enable us to design and test new products with a larger and more diverse engineering staff."

The new engineering building offers a great balance of lab, work, office and meeting space. It is currently being used for the development of the upcoming Select CMS, a cabin management system (CMS) designed entirely for retrofit installations. The Research and Development team finished moving in to the space in July and recently held a Grand Opening luncheon for employees and vendors.
